Bangsar is a good place to hunter food and I mostly visit
this area once a month before. I have no idea of this restaurant and never look
at their signboard honestly. I think I will not pay my visit if my bff never ask
for that.
The name has successfully caught my attention and reminds me another
restaurant I visited before – Three Little Pigs and The Big Bad Wolf. In addition of the specialty name, distinction theme and
furnishing, good food is the most important for a restaurant in order to retain
more customers.
Pigs and Ducks are the leading role in this restaurant.
There is a lot of decoration for them.
The name has already told you they are serve naughty babe
(pork) and dirty duck, sure our meal will pick for both. This meal actually is
a farewell dinner before I am leaving to New Zealand. Oops! 🙈
Dirty Fries Basket RM10
The basket is mix with the sweet potato chip and potato
chip. I love both so I decide to pick this, but it still not enough for me.
Hungarian Sausages RM18
They have few sausages you can choose and each served with
mashed potato and sauerkraut. If you wondering about sauerkraut and I can tell
you this are the way they usually eat the sausages in western country. But it
will better if I can add some sauce like mustard or chilli on it!
Spaghetti Carbonara with Pork Bacon RM22
Alright, I’m a fan of Carbonara and I can’t help to order
this every time. The spaghetti is toasted with bacon and cooked in NBDD’s cream
sauce. The carbornara not cooked in creamy while a bit dry; probably because of
this and I didn’t feel greasy.
Dirty Duck Linguine RM28
Sure we want to try out how was the taste for duck. The
pasta sauteed with onion, garlic, basil and smoked duck breast slices. They are
tossed with Truffle oil but for me still a bit dry yet. Honestly, I still loving
the creamy sauce and oily fulfill my spaghetti. Hmm..
Chef’s picks is here!!
NBDD BBQ Pork Ribs Half Slab RM38/ Full Slab RM68
The pork ribs are signature from them, lacquered with their homemade
barbecue sauce and come with two choice of dipping: Tomato salsa (sweet &
sour) and Hot Stuff (relatively spicy). They are do their best grilled the pork
ribs to the perfection as you can see the skin is slightly shinny and it really
make us drool. However, Morganfield's pork ribs still my most favorite picks.
Grilled Chicken in Balinese Style RM28
Apart from pork and duck, they are serving chicken too.
Whole spring chicken is grilled in traditional Balinese way, served with chips
and salad. I am wondering how they could grill all the meat with shiny honey
skin, and we can’t help of that.
They do serving alcohol beverages as well and become one of
the pick for dinner place to most of the white and blue collar shirt. You will
see a large group of friend or office worker love to have dinner party and some
drinks at here after work.
I truly recommend this place. If you are around this area may
pay a visit for dinner and have some drinks with friends. No worries if you are
not at this place, they do have another branch at Hartamas but not sure the foods
serve in same way and delicate.
Tips: Remember have a call for reservation advance because
they are always fully seated especially Friday and Saturday night.
