Eat at J's @ Taman Sea, PJ

BY Cecilia Qianqian IN , , 30 comments

A new hidden cafe at Taman Sea, the cafe is actually not difficult to find but since it surround at housing area, you have to turn to back side of the shop lot and you will see their big signboard and the vintage wooden door.

The cafe is not design exactly for who loved cafe hopping. Simple decoration and the ambiance is cozy enough. At least I can be comfortable to dine with my blogger friends.

I wish I could play it, but I not really know, LOL!

A corner fill up the decorations.

Sue, the owner of Eat @ J's and also pastry baker. She was living in Melbourne for few years and she wish to came up the relaxing cafe with cozy atmosphere like she has chill out those cafe at Melbourne. The cafe just opened 3 weeks ago, Sue claimed that she will change the menu every month in order make the menu fixed is easily to getting bored. Same as the pastries and cakes.

Greeting foods from Eat @ J's before start our food review. :)

Gorgeous Geisha

Calming Chamomile
They only have 4 selection of tea bag and it is available to refill.

Coffee Brew Latte
The signature drinks from the cafe, it's smooth but drink it on time. The taste will become light after the ice cube is melt.

Left to right: Cold-Presses Mango Juice, Lemonade Sparkling Juice

Egg on Toast

Scramble eggs with smoked salmon and fresh tomatoes served on toast

Pumpkin Carrot Soup
The soup just nice and I like the mix and match between pumpkin and carrot.

Penne Meatball on Tomatoes and Fresh Basil
Meatball a bit dry and not really good in texture.

Aglio Olio with Prawns
Come with olive oil, sautéed garlic and chilli flakes. Since the chilli flakes is too much and I cannot taste for the garlic.

Grilled Salmon on bed
Served with rockets, roasted potatoes, pearl barley and cherry tomatoes

Honey Balsamic Chicken

Served with mash potato, roasted pumpkin and green beans. I love this as the mash potato is nice and the pumpkin also soft to bite.

Lamb Roganjosh with Rice

This is the lamb rendang and will be include their set lunch and set dinner for weekdays.

Spicy Deep Fry Chicken Wing
The chicken fried with blended chilli padi sauce but honestly, it is not so spicy as you think. I can take this and I love to eat.

Cake of the day-Walnut Brownie

I like their brownie is moist. It not dry like you see from the outer. However, it will dry if you put too long at indoor. Hence, you have to finish it as soon as possible.

They will provide different set lunch every week, surely will surprise you and bring freshness to you constantly. Do drop by here if you are around Petaling Jaya to try out the Honey Balsamic Chicken, it's really nice!!
