Unforgettable Ramadhan Buffet @ Las Vacas, Jalan Yap Kwan Seng

The celebration of Malay compatriots will be coming this August which is Hari Raya Aldifitri. I can't waiting for the Ramadhan month especially the bazaar will be start from evening everyday. They will sell a lot of Malay food that is my favorite such as fried banana, curry puff, donuts, pulut (polished glutinous rice) with coconut and so on. I really miss my hometown so much with their local food.

I'm very pleasure and glad been invited to joining an unforgettable Ramadhan buffet event from Las Vacas and this is really remind me how nice and delicious of Malay food that I never eat since leaving from hometown. 

Las Vacas is the best meat provider in town and been shortlisted Best for Meat in the TimeOut KL Food Awards for 2012 and 2013. All meat is imported as Halal from Australian beef and New Zealand lamb.


Las Vacas buffet themed Unforgettable Ramadhan is leave the unforgettable memories to patrons where they serve mix of gourmet western and traditional eastern dishes at Las Vacas. Of course you still can enjoy ala-carte menu in their Ramadhan buffet.

After greeting and having some brief from the manager, I starting hunting the buffet they are prepare. Here are part of the menu list from Las Vacas Ramadhan buffet:

Canapes such as smoked beef with mustard, tuna mayo egg teriyaki, black olive tapenade
chicken with creamy pesto
smoked turkey salad with balsamic
salad with beef strips
grilled vegetables and red cabbage slaws

There are other traditional Malay dishes such as Beef Redang, Nasi Tomato, Ikan Bakar, Asam Pedas, karipap etc. and these dish will be rotated daily. This is perfect for large group of families that want the quality and variety of foods minus the hassle of cooking.

All-You-Can-Eat Australian steaks and New Zealand lamb freshly barbeque on a grill. This is so excited to enjoying their premium meat in this Ramadhan buffet!

Yes, just keep calm to enjoy your meat in Las Vacas.

The performance will be on Friday and Saturday. So if you wish to listen some traditional Malay song to having traditional Malay food could coming for Friday and Saturday


The price of meat is show clearly on the top.

The meats on display are for sale.


The olive oil is sale as well.


The interior is design with cozy ambiances and honestly I love the way they are decorate with beautiful wood simply.


Of course there are outdoor to let you enjoy the meal with green view.


As overall, the food they are prepare is quite nice. The meat they was serve is best and this is fully justified their reputation from the awards. Wish to getting more into my stomach and fulfill my appetite. :P

The Ramadhan buffet is available at Yap Kwang Seng branch only. The buffet will start from 8th to 27th July 2014 from 6.30pm to 10pm.
